Bombs, improvised explosive devices (IED) and booby trap identification
Students work in small groups utilizing scenario based training. Scenarios include aggressive persons, attacks, and de-escalation situations. The student is required to utilize skills taught in the program to successfully complete the scenarios. Instructors and role players will interact using a variety of training aids including firearm simulators.
Students will conduct advances at various facilities in the Las Vegas area and participate in a “mock” detail at the conclusion of the course.
