NRA Basic Pistol Course
The NRA Basic Pistol Course covers the basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. The course fee includes range fees, targets, handouts, and course completion certificate. Follow-on training and support is available after taking the course. Topics covered include:
- Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling
- Fundamentals of Marksmanship
- Administrative Gun Handling
- Firearm Cleaning and Maintenance
- Firing the First Shots
Nevada Security Firearms Safety Course
This 11-hour course is required by NRS/NAC 648 for any person who is required to carry a firearm in the performance of their duties while employed by a licensed security or private investigation company in Nevada. Upon successful completion of the course the student will receive a Firearms Safety Certificate "White Card" as required by the Private Investigators Licensing Board and a course completion certificate. This course requires both classroom instruction and live-fire on the range. Students must bring a referral form from a Nevada licensed security or investigative company in order to be issued a "White Card". Course fee includes range fees, targets and handouts.

Nevada Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW) Training Course
The CCW Course consists of 8-hours of classroom and range instruction for individuals desiring to legally carry a concealed firearm. Students successfully completing the course will meet the CCW training requirements for the states of Nevada and Florida. Holding these three permits allows you to legally carry a concealed firearm in 32+ states. Course fee includes range fees, targets, handouts, and course completion certificate. Topics covered include:
- Applicable Laws and Ordinances
- Liability when Carrying Firearms
- Safe Handling, Care and Maintenance
- Pistols, Revolvers, and Ammunition
- Use-of Force and Self-Defense
- Carry Methods and Equipment Selection
- Basic Defensive Shooting
- Understanding Permit Reciprocity
- Live Fire Qualification and Shooting Drills
Prerequisite: Basic pistol, equivalent training, or pre-course evaluation test.
